| The Fall River Mills
House is located in the Big Eddy Estates in Fall River Mills,
California. It is seventy miles east of Redding, California. The area is
called the intermountain area. There is excellent fishing; golf digest five
star golf courses; thousands of acres of federal and state recreation
lands; lakes for water sports; a local hospital and airport; several
quality restaurants, and a Christmas light parade. Ranching, farming, and
tourism are the main economies. Many people fly into Fall River Mills to
play the golf digest's hidden jewel of Northern California golf course or
to fly fish the famous Fall River and Hat Creek (to name only a couple).
Historically, Fall River Mills was once the home of Bing Crosby who helped
create the local golf course, as well as the local hospital. |
